The Kulturbüro Sachsen is offering a 90-minute lecture that will provide an in-depth overview of anti-democratic structures, their identifying features and their mechanisms of action in Lusatia. In particular, current developments in the field of right-wing extremism and its links to everyday discourse will be highlighted. The lecture is aimed at anyone interested in dealing with tendencies that threaten democracy in the region or who would like to gain the confidence to act accordingly.

The evening will be complemented by the mobile information trailer of the tvBUNT network – Network for Democracy and Diversity in the District of Bautzen. The trailer serves as a visible sign of civic engagement against right-wing extremism and stands for low-threshold educational and awareness-raising work in public spaces. On site, there is the opportunity to equip oneself with information material, educational impulses and topic-related merchandise.

In addition, the tvBUNT team invites you to exchange ideas directly with democratically engaged actors from the region. The aim is not only to educate people about right-wing extremist structures, but also to strengthen connections in local networks that are committed to an open, solidary and democratic society.

Das Kulturbüro Sachsen bietet einen etwa 90-minütigen Vortrag an, der einen fundierten Überblick über demokratiefeindliche Strukturen, deren Erkennungszeichen sowie deren Wirkungsmechanismen in der Lausitz gibt. Dabei werden insbesondere aktuelle Entwicklungen im Bereich des Rechtsextremismus sowie seine Anschlussstellen an Alltagsdiskurse beleuchtet. Der Vortrag richtet sich an alle Interessierten, die sich mit demokratiegefährdenden Tendenzen in der Region auseinandersetzen oder entsprechende Handlungssicherheit gewinnen möchten.

Ergänzt wird der Abend durch den mobilen Infoanhänger des Netzwerks tvBUNT – Netzwerk für Demokratie und Vielfalt im Landkreis Bautzen. Der Anhänger dient als sichtbares Zeichen für zivilgesellschaftliches Engagement gegen Rechtsextremismus und steht für niedrigschwellige Bildungs- und Aufklärungsarbeit im öffentlichen Raum. Vor Ort besteht die Möglichkeit, sich mit Informationsmaterialien, pädagogischen Impulsen sowie themenbezogenem Merchandise auszustatten.
