chamëo is a DJ, raised in Dresden, currently based in Basel. She played her first sets at freeparties and protests, and has since become a regular presence in clubs and other venues. For her, all of these spaces are inherently political, and so is the music played in them.
Her sets are a space for emotions and parts of the self that don’t get enough room in everyday life. She wants people to feel, to process, to let go. Her sets build gradually, drawing people back into their own bodies. Moving between melodic and housy, dark and techno-driven, and always returning to oldschool and happy hardcore.

The DJ project was born in 2024 with the goal of making a dream reality after years of dancing on diverse dancefloors. In January 2025, she joined the Swiss label Patronus Records as a Label DJ.
Since then, she has showcased her diverse spectrum of sounds across intimate underground parties, major festivals, and as a supporting act for international headliner such as Dickster, Tristan, Braingineers or Imaginarium.
Together with her DJ colleague CHINCHILLA she is the founder of the FLINTA Psytrance DJ Project NYXTRIPS, hosting and organizing all-female Parties and Floors to support upcoming female DJs.
